Cyclocross Somerhill

Round 6 of the London & South East Cyclocross League was at Somerhill organised by my club Southborough and District Wheelers. The course was fairly technical with off camber sections and steep climbs. I had a good start and was about 4th Under16, not that far off the second place group, for a couple laps. I raced at the cross country the day before so I just slowed down a bit as I couldn’t keep up with the group. The course was really fun however and it was good skill practice, and I enjoyed it alot. The race was fast and the season is far from over yet, plus I have another year in this category, so I have lots more oppurtunities this winter and in the future.

This was just a short blog but I have a few more races coming up like IRD’s (Inter Regional Duathlon) at the beginning of November and cross countries over the course of this winter like Sussex League rounds and Nationals. Thanks for reading.
